CCD Registration for 2005-06 School year will begin Tuesday, April 5 at 4 to 5 PM and Thursday, April 7 at 6:30 to 7:30 PM. For class information call 322-7200.
Basic Catechist Certification Course,Module 4 Session #2, will be held Wednesday, March 6th from 6 to 8 PM in the Math/Choir Room. All current OLPH teachers and religious ed. catechists are encouraged to attend.
We are examining, as Msgr. Mike’s request, a means to verify if students in First Communion & Confirmation preparation programs are attending Sunday Mass. The neighboring parishes now have such a requirement.
Classses Resume tonight. Classes will be held every Sunday throughout April with the year ending on April 24th.
Our Holy Week was a parish effort this year. We wish to thank all those who volunteered to participate in the processions, washing of the feet, and organizing behind the scenes. We especially wish to thank the following: Jim Hulsy, Tim Linscott, Elaine Jamison, John Vanherweg, and Jeanne Radsick for their efforts in preparing the Passion reading: Allen and Crystal Watts, the musicians, and choir for their music; the lectors, extraordinary ministers; the servers who put in special practice time; and Lance and Pat Lowery for their help with the RCIA reception. Thank you for making this Holy Week and Easter such a joyous experience.
RCIA classes resume Tuesday, April 5th at 7pm in the Hall.
The Women’s Guild will meet today Sunday, April 3 for the 9 AM Mass and Corporate Communion followed by a Continental Breakfast in the Parish Hall. There will be a special guest speaker.All women of the parish are cordially invited.

Students in Mrs. McGovern’s first grade class are learning science concepts through observation, comparison, discussion, short drama and role playing of the life cycle of the Painted Lady Butterfly and Ladybugs in Ladybug Land.
Mrs. Louden’s sixth graders will travel to Southern California to visit the Los Angeles Natural History Museum this Wednesday, April 6.
Thanks to the generosity of students and their families, the Student Council was able to make and deliver 44 Easter baskets to the children at the Bethany Center.
OLPH fourth, fifth and sixth graders will attend the regional Battle of the Books Friday, April 8. Under the guidance of Mrs. Bair, the students have read and discussed a variety of books from a long list designated for the event. Before the competition all students are placed on teams created just before the event begins, eliminating the stress of schools competing against one another
