After the 7:00 PM Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord’s Supper, we will process with the Blessed Sacrament to a place of repose, available for personal prayer and quiet reflection until 10:30 PM. If there are handicapped or elderly who wish to participate in the procession and need special assistance, please call Debbie Garton, 716-1005. On Holy Thursday remember to bring food for the hungry for St. Vincent de Paul and bring a pie to share at the pie social. The pie social will follow the procession and enshrinement of the Holy Eucharist. On Good Friday, we begin at Noon with readings and reflections on the Cross, followed by the traditional Good Friday Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion at 1:00 PM. After the Liturgy, contemporary Stations of the Cross will present music and reflections chosen and composed by the youth of the parish. The Traditional Stations of the Cross will also be presented at 5:30 PM.Before the 7:30 PM Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday, everyone will gather on the east lawn (along Loma Linda Ave.) for the blessing of the Easter Fire. This is a part of the Easter Vigil Service that the congregation can only see from the outside. At its conclusion the lighted Easter Candle will lead us into the darkened Church for the celebration of the Resurrection and the conferral of the Sacraments of Easter on the Elect.
Masses on Easter Sunday will be celebrated at 7:30, 9:00, 10:30 AM, 12 Noon, and 5:30 PM.
